So you’ve been practicing yoga for a while and finding yourself feeling grounded and inspired like never before, and you’re thinking that you want to share your love for yoga with other people and that you can see yourself getting into the practice more deeply. Or maybe you’ve been thinking that maybe training to become a yoga teacher is exactly the reset you need in your life. We’ll talk about whether or not you should take yoga teacher training and how to know if you’re ready in another post. In this one, we’re listing down some places that offer yoga teacher training in the Philippines. It’s a really good thing that these classes are now available locally; before, you needed to go to other places such as Hong Kong and Thailand to train to become a yoga teacher.
A little heads-up: This info is current as of October 2025. We’re going to keep doing research to find info on any new places and organizations offering yoga teacher training in the Philippines.
- Comfit Studio in Pasig offers a yoga teacher training class that runs for only 25 hours, and at the end of it, you receive a certificate and are fully qualified to be a teacher. Currently, the training course is priced at P25,000.
- AV108 specializes in Ashtanga, and the studio offers 200-hour yoga teacher training courses that are held every Saturday, or you can go for the 200-hour intensive yoga teacher training course held every day. AV108 also lets you brush up on other skills, such as teaching chair yoga, restorative yoga, and trauma-informed yoga.
- Yoga Philippines, established in 2004, is one of the country’s first yoga schools that offer Yoga Alliance-accredited courses such as 200-Hour Teacher Training and Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider certification courses.
- Bodhi Yoga Center in Siargao offers a 200-hour yoga teacher training course and a 300-hour advanced course, open to those who have completed the 200-hour training at a Yoga Alliance–registered school. Classes are kept small (only 10 students), so you can expect personalized attention.
- Kundalini Yoga Manila occasionally announces schedules for teacher training retreats. Here’s their post on a 2026 training retreat they’re offering.
- Inner Power Vinyasa offers a 200-hour class guided by Ben Bernabe and Rianna Gatus. The course takes place at House of Friends Yoga in Quezon City. For the 2026 session, you can sign up at this link.
- Philippines Rishikesh Ayurveda Yoga School is proud to be teaching traditional yoga as it’s taught in India, and the school also offers 200-, 300-, and 500-hour teacher training classes.
- Treehouse Yoga is a registered with Yoga Alliance and offers 200-hour yoga teacher training as well as Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Programs.
As yoga continues to become more popular, there will be more people who will look into becoming a yoga teacher, and over time, it looks like the number of studios and groups offering yoga teacher training will keeping growing.
